En tant que photographe d'architecture, je suis attirée par les structures. Je suis inspirée par la simplicité et la précision des lignes, la variété des textures et les reflets créés par les interactions avec la lumière, qui révèlent de multiples possibilités.

J'ai commencé ce projet en 2017, qui a évolué en pointillés jusqu'en 2024.

Dans le cadre de mon processus créatif, je sélectionne soigneusement les éléments dans mes photographies d'architecture.

Chaque pièce est prélevée en tenant compte de la manière dont elle contribuera à la composition émergente.

Mon intention est de créer un cadre imaginaire qui va au-delà de ma vision littérale de la structure…

Mais un jour la mémoire me revient…

Adolescente, mon père m’emmenait régulièrement au cinema. Il était fasciné par l’image, le montage, la mise en scène…
Il m’expliquait durant la séance, comment prêter attention aux détails. Il me racontait la lumière, le positionnement des acteurs, le premier plan et l’arrière plan, le contrechamps, le cadrage qui structurent un plan ou une scène. Il observait souvent les personnages en arrière plan dans les films de Frank Capra car ils avaient souvent des postures surprenantes.
Mon père n’a jamais travaillé sur un plateau, pourtant sans le savoir, il me sensibilisait au langage visuel.
J’ai réalisé une première série de “La Petite Robe Rouge” en 2017 que j’ai terminé en 2018.
Puis une deuxième série en 2022 que j’ai terminé en 2024.
Parmi les films que j’ai vu avec mon père, il y a eu “METROPOLIS” de Fritz Lang (1927), dont l’histoire et les images m’ont fascinées.
J’ai ensuite accroché l’affiche du film au mur de ma chambre qui y est restée quelques années…
Ce n’est que fin 2024, après qu’une image du film ‘METROPOLIS” est apparue sur mon écran, que j’ai fait le lien entre “La Petite Robe Rouge” et le film de Fritz Lang surtout après l’avoir visionné à nouveau.
Lors de la création de la première série, j’ai ajouté un personnage féminin qui aujourd’hui, en hommage au film, je nomme « MARIA », qui représente une femme habillée d’une robe rouge et dans la deuxième série, elle est répétée en écho, formant une ligne mystérieuse qui devient la clé d'un narratif personnel.
Sa présence ajoute une dimension humaine et poétique au décor graphique - une toile de fond ouvrant sur un monde imaginaire.

As an architectural photographer, I am drawn to structures. I am inspired by the simplicity and precision of lines, the variety of textures and the reflections created by interactions with light, which reveal multiple possibilities.

I began this project in 2017, and it has evolved in fits and starts until 2024.

As part of my creative process, I carefully select the elements in my architectural photographs.

Each piece is chosen with consideration for how it will contribute to the emerging composition.

My intention is to create an imaginary framework that goes beyond my literal vision of the structure...

But one day, my memory returns...

When I was a teenager, my father regularly took me to the cinema. He was fascinated by images, editing, staging...
During the film, he would explain how to pay attention to details. He would tell me about the lighting, the positioning of the actors, the foreground and background, the reverse shots, and the framing that structures a shot or scene. He often observed the characters in the background in Frank Capra's films because they often had surprising postures.
My father never worked on a film set, yet without knowing it, he introduced me to visual language.
I created a first series of "La Petite Robe Rouge" in 2017, which I finished in 2018.
Then a second series in 2022, which I finished in 2024.
Among the films I saw with my father was Fritz Lang's "METROPOLIS" (1927), whose story and images fascinated me.
I then hung the film poster on my bedroom wall, where it remained for several years...
It was only late 2024, after an image from the film appeared on my screen, that I made the connection between "La Petite Robe Rouge" and Fritz Lang's film, especially after watching it again.
When creating the first series, I added a female character who today, in homage to the film, I name 'MARIA', representing a woman dressed in a red dress.
In the second series, she is repeated in echo, forming a mysterious line that becomes the key to a personal narrative.
Her presence adds a human and poetic dimension to the graphic setting - a backdrop opening onto an imaginary world.

Both series are a limited edition of 10 prints for each photomontage

For the past 10 years, I have been extracting details from my photographs to create photomontages that depict imaginary scenes.

I am always on the lookout for architecture that, depending on the angles and light, allows me to collect even more fragments for new creations.
